Bridging the Black Box: Explainable Anomaly Detection for Critical Infrastructure
This research focuses on developing interpretable AI techniques for detecting cyber-physical threats by combining machine learning with graph-based explanations.
Projects

AI-Driven Anomaly Detection for Critical Infrastructure (DoD Research)
Built an AI system to detect cyber-physical attacks by combining network and sensor data. Achieved 98–99% accuracy using XGBoost and improved interpretability with knowledge graphs and explainable AI techniques. Delivered the results through an interactive dashboard for real-time analysis.
- XGBoost
- Machine Learning
- GNNs
- Neo4j
- TimescaleDB
- Streamlit
- Python

NASA Gateway Runtime Visualization System
Developed a runtime 3D visualization tool in Unreal Engine for NASA’s Gateway station. Enabled dynamic import and manipulation of complex models with snapping, transformation controls, and persistent configuration support. Designed the system to make assembly and interaction more flexible outside the editor.
- Unreal Engine
- C++
- 3D Systems
- Runtime Import
- UI/UX
- JSON

Cyber-Physical Data Pipeline & Knowledge Graph System
Designed ETL pipelines to process large-scale cyber-physical data into time-series and graph databases. Built workflows using TimescaleDB and Neo4j to support relationship modeling, anomaly context analysis, and system-wide insights.
- Neo4j
- ETL
- PostgreSQL
- Python

About Me
Once I graduated high school, I knew college was the natural next step, but I wasn’t sure what I wanted to major in. I never had one strong passion growing up that I could clearly see myself pursuing as a lifelong career. What I did have, though, was an older brother I looked up to greatly. He was studying Computer Science at the University of South Carolina, and I decided I wanted to follow in his footsteps. That’s what led me to apply to Angelo State University as a Computer Science major. When I walked into my very first class—Introduction to Programming—I had never written a single line of code before. But I quickly discovered that I loved it. Programming felt natural to me, and I was able to pick up concepts faster than many of my peers. Before long, classmates were even coming to me for help. Now, as I work toward earning my Bachelor’s in Computer Science, with graduation expected in 2026, I’m eager to gain real-world experience that will allow me to apply what I’ve learned, continue growing, and contribute to meaningful projects.verything just came so natual to me and i was able to pick up on things faster than others, soon my peers were asking me for help
